Shakeatha Davis
Principal Attorney
The Principal Attorney for The S. Davis Law Group is Attorney Shakeatha Davis. Shakeatha Davis received her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music and English from Xavier University of Louisiana. Her legal experience includes being a Student Writer for the Earl Carl Institute for Social Policy and Advancement, “Our Story” Published Spring 2012. She has also worked for the legal department of BP America, and served as Judicial Intern for both Chief Bankruptcy Judge Jeff Bohm and Judge Kenneth Hoyt. Attorney Davis was selected as National Bar Association Entertainment Fellow, a Semi- Finalist in the ABA Media Law Moot Court Competition, and a Law Scholar for the ABA Section on Environment, Energy, and Resources.
In addition, she served as Environmental Justice Specialist, Public Comment Team for NBLSA Judicial Advocacy and Managing Editor for SRBLSA Law Journal. She has published an article in SRBLSA Law Journal and was selected as a Presidential Management Fellow Finalist for 2013.
